?During the first semester of this year, CPqD filled three patent requests at INPI (National Institute for Industrial Property), vindicating for itself the right of intellectual property regarding three products, fruit of its scientific production:

1) Optical device and system to monitor remotely the stretching mechanical strain in conductors of power transmission and distribution aerial networks (co-owned with CEMIG);

2) Optical amplifier with gain automatic control;

3) Method for power independent control and diode laser wavelength?.
