CPqD has won lusacell’s international bid and will now supply their plant management system to the Mexican company. The entire optical network of the company, one of the three largest mobile operators in Mexico, will now be inventoried with CPqD’s Brazilian technology.

The deal is the result of a joint commercial initiative with the representative, Global Service Provider (GSP), headquartered in that country. “The agreement with lusacell is exciting because it marks the beginning of our activities in Mexico,” says Paulo Xavier, CPqD’s International Market Director.

CPqD’s georeferenced solution, considered a critical mission system, will centralize the records of lusacell’s entire optical network, providing reliable and updated information, as well as operational and network maintenance support. “Our technology offers a complete suite of powerful features, allowing customers to plan and design future expansions and incorporate new services with ease and security,” Xavier points out.

CPqD won the bid over competing offers from two American companies, who had hoped to supply their solutions to the Mexican operator. It is worthy of mention that CPqD’s georeferenced technology is currently in use by several telecommunication companies and is considered one of the most complete in the world.
