Laboratory Integrator
Sisyphoton - Sistemthe national
Photonics Laboratories.
the sistemNational Photonics Laboratories (Sisfóton) is one of the main strategic and structuring actions of the Brazilian Photonics Initiative (IBFóton) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI), carried out with the support of CNPq – National Council for Scientific and Technological.
Sisfóton is an initiative of the General Coordination of Enabling Technologies – CGTH of the MCTI – Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
The objective is to promote unity among the actors of the ecosystemtemthe Brazilian innovation in photonics (academy, ICT, industry and startups) and actions aimed at the country's scientific, technological, economic and social development.
Sisfóton defines two complementary roles throughout its development – namely the Integrator Laboratory (CPQD) and the General Laboratories.
What is the role of
Integrator Laboratory
Promote Sis strategic intelligence actionstema, together with the MCTI, as well as the digital integration of the laboratories and articulation of interaction agendas. Contribute to the integration of Sisfóton laboratories, aiming at the sense of uniqueness of SistemThe. Disseminate the scientific, technological, innovation and entrepreneurship activities carried out by the other laboratories belonging to Sisfóton. O CPQD was selected as Integrator Laboratory of sistemthe National Photonics Laboratories, in a public call made by the CNPq e MCTI.

CPQD's performance as an Integrating Laboratory is based on the execution of several
activities to be performed sequentially or simultaneously, namely:
1
to know laboratories
FROM JUL/21 TO DEC/21
- to know laboratories ecossistema, lines of research and results
- Map the state of the art in photonics
- Converge a unique technological vision
2
Monitor laboratories
FROM OCT/21 TO DEC/23
- Monitor the developed projects
- Support partnerships with other Brazilian laboratories
- Demonstrate the advancement of photonics
- Analyze any gaps in specific areas
3
Integrate laboratories
FROM OCT/21 TO DEC/23
- semester events
- Identify demands and encourage cooperation
- Promote interaction with companies and startups
- Annual events with international actors
4
Fund-raising
FROM JAN/22 TO DEC/23
- Follow up on public notices and R&D calls with temas for submission of photonics projects
- Disseminate funding options for projects with companies and startups
- prospect projects
5
Publish Results
FROM JAN/22 TO DEC/23
- Technological results (laboratories and companies)
- Scientific results (good evaluation by CAPES)
6
finalize the project
FROM OCT/23 TO DEC/23
- Present and evaluate the results achieved

The CPQD, in the form of the Integrator Laboratory, makes available to the ecosystemtemSisfóton its Match Connect program, which is an open innovation action aimed at calling, selecting and pre-accelerating technology-based startups, always conducted on demand from companies and industries interested in innovative solutions based on photonics for technological challenges in different application environments.
The resources and support offered to participants, such as infrastructure, technology assets, access to funding mechanisms and mentoring are defined together with the partners of each round of the program.
