Identify the frequency lots with the lowest level of interference in the 700 Mhz band – in order to support the auction participation strategy.

SOLUTION

The CPQD carried out the analysis of the auctioned digital dividend frequency lots and identified the blocks with the lowest level of interference from adjacent services throughout the national territory.

RESULT

CPQD support allowed the operator to identify “quick wins” (areas with greater exploration potential in the shortest window of temas possible), thus increasing the assertiveness of the investment made for the acquisition of the lane.

Demonstrate to the regulatory body that companies classified as holders of "Significant Market Power - SMP", in certain markets and specific regions, in fact, suffered competition from several actors.

SOLUTION

CPQD developed a methodology and a support tool to analyze the markets of interest in selected regions, considering publicly available information and gathering evidence in the field.

RESULT

The application of the methodology created by CPQD made it possible to mischaracterize the providers as holders of SMP in large areas of service provision in the target market, making it possible to demonstrate that there were, in fact, several regions of great interest and commercial competition.

Accelerate the cleaning process and make the 700 MHz frequency band available, with a view to exploiting the 4th Generation Personal Mobile Service.

SOLUTION

The CPQD carried out the measurement of coverage of broadcasting services and telecomunications, aiming to identify interference between services. In addition, it elaborated the propositions of necessary actions for the mitigation of the interference.

RESULT

CPQD support made it possible to reduce the time-to-market of SMP providers by anticipating the request to the regulatory body for the activation of the service, using the 700 MHz band and, consequently,temthe commercial exploitation of that service.

DESAFIO

Evaluate the connectivity infrastructure in one of the mines operated by the client and, based on usage, propose improvements.

SOLUTION

CPQD identified the use cases present in the mine and, using coverage analysis tools, verified the areas that could be improved. Then, it outlined an evolutionary roadmap for eventual technological replacement by the customer.

RESULT

The result gave the customer options to develop their connectivity infrastructure, with the possibility of adopting technologies that are more suited to the mining company's usage profiles.

The CPQD analyzed several databases (own and public) covering SMP providers in Brazil and technical characteristics, evaluated the requirements and necessary functionalities and generated strategic recommendations for vehicle connectivity.

Project for the evolution and validation of the implementation of the TelecomBrazilian Aeronautical Unions (ATN Network) in accordance with the VolP ATM standardization forums.

SOLUTION

CPQD carried out the design and approval of the implementation of the ATN Network, the basic design of the National Backbone and the design and implementation of the laboratory for validation and systemic qualification.

RESULT

The CPQD's support made it possible to ensure the technological evolution of the ATN Network in accordance with the needs of the Air Force's critical mission operation and with international standardization forums (EUROCAE – European Organization for Civil Aviation Equipment).

Demand: Consultoria technique for creating and monitoring the VolP service for the State.

DESAFIO

Creation and monitoring of the implementation of the VoIP service for all public bodies in the State of São Paulo – considering demand, technological evolution and costs.

SOLUTION

CPQD carried out the planning and the term of reference – based on the diagnosis of the current situation and the analysis of future scenarios of adherence and demand growth in the medium and long term. In addition to technical support during the service contracting process, CPQD also carried out acceptance tests and technical monitoring of deployments.

RESULT

CPQD's support allowed for cost reductions in relation to traditional telephony solutions, with significant improvements. In its first version, the state's VoIP project already has more than 40 branches in operation.

Formation of a war room with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate the different platforms offered with a view to identifying the potential for use in a long-term horizon and possible technological obsolescence in the period.

Analyze KPIs of a pilot project in an industrial environment with the objective of defining guidelines for the roll out and best practices for the adoption of 5G Networks.

SOLUTION

Selection of representative use cases to be evaluated on the shop floor and their respective KPIs. Monitoring the commissioning of 5G networks using public and private networks, with active support throughout the troubleshooting process. Analysis of the pros and cons of each approach.

RESULT

The CPQD evaluation allowed the client to compare different architectures for providing a 5G connectivity solution, in order to choose the one that best adheres to its business model.
