Match Connect Saúde: 5 startups are in the pre-acceleration phase of the program

The five startups selected for the pre-acceleration phase of the Match Connect Saúde program – a joint initiative by CPQD, Bosch and Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, with the support of Baita Aceleradora – have already been defined. Its proposals were approved at the pitch day held on Wednesday, 15/12, in which ten startups presented proofs of concept for innovative solutions for the health area.

These startups participated in the first phase of Match Connect Saúde, during which they underwent an immersion in the technologies offered in the program by CPQD and Bosch, and also through technical mentoring sessions with health specialists from Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic. Based on this knowledge, the teams of the ten startups – Ampliare Saúde, Ar Inovações Tecnológicas, beMAV, Bioneye, GeneS, Higi, Salutho, Siklee, TriVincit and wConnect – developed proofs of concept demonstrating the feasibility of the proposed solutions.

The five selected for the pre-acceleration phase of the program are: Ar Inovações Tecnológicas, GeneS, Salutho, Siklee and wConnect. At this stage, startups have the challenge of developing, testing and validating a minimum viable product (MVP) in a real external environment - such as hospitals, hubs and partner clinics of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic -, in order to demonstrate the viability of the business model of the proposed solution. The Demo Day, where the MVPs will be presented, is scheduled for April 4, 2022, when the winning Match Connect Health startup will be announced.

“With this, we want to contribute to the digital transformation in the health area, through open innovation and encouragement to startups that will have advanced technological resources at their disposal to solve real problems in this sector”, says Maurício Casotti, Business Development manager in Smart Cities and Health 4.0 by CPQD. He emphasizes the commitment of all startups that participated in the first phase of the program and the quality of the proposals presented. “All were innovative and very interesting, which made it very difficult for the evaluation panel to choose the 5 startups for the pre-acceleration stage”, observes Casotti. "Congratulations to all of you!"

Among the technologies available to startups at Match Connect Saúde are the open platform for AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things), a combination of two platforms developed by CPQD: dojot, middleware for Internet das Coisas (IoT), and PlatIA, for Artificial Intelligence. In addition, program participants have devices and sensors supplied by Bosch, such as sistemtracking via wireless tags, connectivity cards and high-definition cameras.
