Match Connect Saúde finalist startups present their projects on June 7

From the presentations at the Demo Day, the winning startup of the program will be defined, which is an initiative of CPQD, Bosch and Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, with the support of Baita Aceleradora

The Match Connect Saúde program, a joint initiative by CPQD, Bosch and Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic with the support of Baita Aceleradora, is entering its final stage. The five startups participating in the pre-acceleration phase will present their minimum viable product (MVP) projects on the Demo Day scheduled for next Tuesday, 07/06 – based on these presentations, the evaluation committee will define the winning startup .

Created with the objective of stimulating the development of innovative solutions for real problems in the health area, the program began in October last year, with the opening of registrations for startups and entrepreneurs interested in participating in the challenge. Of the total of 24 subscribers, ten participated in the first stage of Match Connect Saúde, during which they underwent an immersion in the technologies offered - among them, the open platform for AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things), developed by CPQD, and devices and sensors provided by Bosch, such as sistemtracking via wireless tags, connectivity cards and high-definition cameras. In addition, they had technical mentoring sessions, with health specialists from Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, and business mentoring sessions, with Baita Aceleradora.

Based on this knowledge, teams developed proofs of concept to demonstrate the feasibility of proposed solutions. The ten proposals were presented at the pitch day held in December, which selected the five startups for the pre-acceleration phase: AR Inovações Tecnológicas, GeneS, Salutho, Siklee and wconnect.

In this stage, which began in January, the startups had the challenge of developing, testing and validating an MVP in a real external environment - such as hospitals, hubs and partner clinics of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic -, in order to demonstrate the viability of the model of business of the proposed solution. This, by the way, will be one of the evaluation criteria for the projects presented at the Demo Day, as well as the degree of technological innovation of the solution, its added value and application, potential market, investment and project scalability. Based on these criteria, the evaluation committee will define the winning startup for Match Connect Saúde.
