Trópico will have a new president fromtembro

Campinas, August 22, 2022 – From the 1st oftembro, the presidency of Trópico will be exercised by Júlio Martorano, executive advisor of CPQD and current executive secretary of the company's Board of Directors. He replaces Paulo Cabestré, who has been at the head of Trópico since 2014 and is now looking for new challenges for his professional career.

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Social Sciences, Martorano has been working at CPQD for 36 years, performing various functions and positions in several areas. He was manager of the certification and conformity assessment area, commercial director, director of special projects and, in recent years, has been working to support the governance of CPQD and the companies in which the organization tem partner participation. He is also on the board of Instituto Atlântico, one of the main science and technology institutions in the ICT area in the Northeast (headquartered in Fortaleza), founded 20 years ago by CPQD and Padtec.

As president of Trópico, Júlio Martorano intends to maintain the company's focus on innovative solutions and high added value services for communication networks. “For this, we will continue counting on the support of CPQD and all partners to help Trópico's customers overcome the technological challenges that are emerging, especially in the layers of connectivity and high added value applications”, he says.

Created in 1999 with the participation of CPQD, Trópico tem headquarters in Campinas (SP) and factory in Manaus (AM). Provides integrated connectivity and application solutions for companies from the most diverse economic segments - in particular, from telecomunications, agribusiness, mining, logistics and utilities.
