The Certification request can be made in the following ways:

The conformity assessment process consists of several steps. Each stage will obey a sequence of procedures, according to the Certification Model(s) adopted.

 

 

(*) Model 5 - Type test, evaluation and approval of SIStemthose of the manufacturer's Management, and follow-up through audits at the manufacturer and tests on samples collected from the market.

Fees charged to Certification Applicants and Customers with Certified Products are:

 

Certification Applicant

 

• Analysis of the documentation sent by the client;
• Audit (when applied to the desired scope);
• Auditor and/or specialist hour/man;
• Analysis of the certification process;
• Issuance of the Certificate of Conformity.

 

Customer with Certified Product (Supervision or Maintenance of Certification)

 

• Analysis of the documentation sent by the client;
• Audit (when applied to the desired scope);
• Auditor and/or specialist hour/man;
• Analysis of the certification process;
• Issuance of certification maintenance declaration;
• Reissue of Certificate of Conformity (when applicable).

These are the rights of the Certification Applicant

 

1. Be informed of any changes to regulatory documents applicable to the product(s).
2. In assessment audits, receive reports informing evidence of compliance or non-compliance pointed out by the OCP CPQD Audit Team.
3. Receive the Product Conformity Certificate issued by the OCP CPQD.

 

These are duties of the company with a certified product

 

1. Disclose and correctly use the Conformity Marks, Logo and Product Conformity Certificate.
2. Pay the fees/expenses related to the certification process conducted by the OCP CPQD.
3. When requested, submit to the OCP CPQD the records and allegations of all complaints regarding the certification of the product and its actions.
4. Submit to the OCP CPQD any and all technical modifications that you intend to introduce in the product or in the manufacturing process.
5. Meet the certification requirements necessary for the certification process.
6. Implement appropriate changes when communicated by OCP CPQD.
7. In the event of suspension, cancellation or termination of certification, all advertising material must be stopped and, in particular, in the event of cancellation, the return of certification documents to the OCP CPQD.
8. Use the means of communication about the certification only for the object scope of the certification.

Compliance Identification Seal

 

The use of the brand is allowed in manuals, catalogs, leaflets, but only when they refer to the certified product. The following are considered improper use of the conformity identification seal:

 

• Use of the conformity identification seal on products other than those for which the certification was granted.
• Use of the identification mark, certificate or stamp before receiving the certificate of conformity.
• Use of the OCP CPQD compliance mark without notice.
• Use of the brand, certificate or identification seal not being up to date with its contractual obligations.
• Using product certification in a way that could compromise CPQD's reputation.
License to Use Certificate and Mark of Conformity

 

Abusive uses of the License are considered when:

 

• The ongoing certification process.
• Disclosure of information about conformity of product characteristics not included in applicable regulatory documents

OCP CPQD handles Complaints and Appeals in accordance with Customer Experience Management Processes and Appeals Process that establish the systemtempractice for the treatment of both that are made to CPQD by customers and other interested parties.

 

In addition, CPQD has the Integrity Program, which provides a reporting channel.

 

the suntemthe Certification Management undertakes to comply with and be subject to the penalties provided for by law, specifically Law No. 8078/1990. For customer contact and other parties, CPQD provides institutional means of access (Contact Center and website).

 

Upon request, the description of the complaint, appeal and/or whistleblower handling process may be made available to the customer or other parties.

 

Once the complaint, appeal or complaint is characterized, the controller analyzes whether it is related to certification activities. The Certification Management is responsible for all decisions at all levels of the process for handling complaints, appeals or complaints related to certification activities.

 

The conclusions are analyzed, approved and communicated to the complainant by an employee not directly involved in the certification activities that originated the complaint.

 

The Certification Body gives formal notice of the result and end of the appeal process to the appellant.
